Tresnic Media is seeking a college student who is looking for a learning experience in the social media field.
The perfect applicant is someone who is passionate about social media and has strong writing skills.
The social media intern will play a strong role in enhancing our clients’ presences in social media and gaining visibility for our clients online. The intern will also help with increasing the Tresnic Media online presence.
Internship Activities:
- Keep abreast of all new social media sites, successful and unsuccessful trends and tools.
- Work with a project manager on developing social media strategies and tactics to achieve business goals for clients.
- Execute social media tactics on a daily basis to help drive traffic and gain leads for clients.
- Basic website management through the WordPress dashboard when necessary. This includes adding and editing content on web pages, installing and setting up WordPress plugins and basic search engine optimization through WordPress plugins and Google Webmaster Tools.
Internship Requirements:
- College Juniors or Seniors with a concentration in business or marketing
- 3 month commitment
- Active user of multiple social media sites
Required Skills:
- Familiarity of popular (and up and coming) social media sites
- Strong writing skills
- Creative mind
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (or Mac equivalent)
Bonus Skills:
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
- Familiarity with WordPress websites and dashboard
- Active user of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
This is the perfect opportunity for a college student looking to gain experience at an online marketing agency. This is an unpaid internship with the possibility of advancement at the end of the internship.
