Getting started with Twitter may be overwhelming for some people who don’t really know where to begin. I’ve made a short, simple list to take you through the process and make your first step into the Twitterverse a smooth one.
- Sign up for a Twitter account
Signing up for an account is easy, all you need is an email address - Browse the categories
Find people who you want to follow that may be offering quality information that you’re interested in. - Upload your profile picture
Click on “Profile” in the top right and then click on the default profile picture with a + sign to bring you to the uploading screen. - Update your profile info

- bio
- Upload your custom background
- Add yourself to directories
- Follow people in your industry from those directories
